Filtration Stages
 
Stage 1: Sediment Filter ‣ Polyspun Sediment filter removes any sediments from the water, which is the prime requirement for the 2nd stage filter to work efficiently. This plays a vital role if you are using rainwater or water supplied by the city water corporation.
Stage 2: Carbon Filter ‣ The OmnipureBlocks™ one-micron carbon filter successfully gets rid of all chlorine, chemicals, pesticides, undesirable taste, and smell. Made from premium coconut-shell carbon, fresh and sweet-tasting water is ensured. All Omnipure filter bodies are made with virgin, high-impact polypropylene which is especially ideal for use in applications where sanitary conditions are required. All materials of construction are NSF and FDA approved.

These filters work with water that has been previously disinfected. Not suitable with water that is micro biologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before the system.
